The short film, "My Immortal Love", is about the story of Connor, a man who lost his family in a house fire. He turns to alcoholism to cope with the grief and loss, while battling suicidal ideations. By the end of the film, he finds a source of hope to continue on.
A Tale of Two Concepts
The darkness vs the light. Which path will Connor choose?
For this project, I decided to create 2 concepts to represent the duality of the film. The memories that the main character holds can be relived through 2 different lenses and 2 different viewpoints: Pain vs Hope. Darkness vs Light.
Poster 1: Darkness
Visuals of the fire consuming the main character's home and the memories of his family.
Poster 2: The Light
Although the main character has lost his family in a tragic fire, he can still see the light.
